Ruella Yates, Oklahoma City encaustic artist, is the guest artist at Houx Gallery, The Paseo Arts District, Oklahoma City, for the month of March. The show, Hot Wax, Cool Art, will feature innovations in a centuries-old art form that is experiencing a revival in the United States. Opening reception is March 2, during Paseo's First Friday Art Walk, from 6-8 p.m. You're invited!

China Moon Award of Merit Winner

China Moon, encaustic painting by Oklahoma City artist Ruella Yates, was chosen as an Award of Merit winner at the Paris on Paseo Annual Juried Art Show in The Paseo Arts District, Oklahoma City. Presenting the award was Winnie Hawkins, chairman of the show committee. Dortha Killian was the juror.
